We had a buyer before we even listed, but the buyer turned out to be just on the edge of being able to afford the property. Kathy guided me through our work on the house (which went past schedule) and dealt with the buyers, who were consistently cagey about their financial situation. Kathy was a staunch advocate for us as sellers; this buyer had offered to buy the house in a private sale, and after dealing with their difficult path to finally bringing the funding together, I was very glad to have Kathy in our corner, holding the buyers to account - Kathy and my lawyer basically had to drive the closing process home with sometimes vague or contradictory information from the buyers. She was always ready with logistical help or good advice, and hooked us up with a stellar cleanout service. We had such a good experience that when we recently decided to move, Kathy was the first person we contacted to help us with the buying and selling process.
